In January 2023, PT. PRIHADITAMA Geosciences Team: (1) Mr. Alditama Prihadi (President Director/ Oceanographer / Geophysicist),
(2) Mr. Rizky Affianto (Geophysicist), and (3) Mr. Muh. Rama Adyaksa (Oceanographer) has completed their BOSIET certification training in Cisarua, Bogor,
West Java, Indonesia. This certification is designed to equip geoscience teams who are accustomed to working at sea with the necessary knowledge and skills
to survive in case of an accident while working at sea.
Offshore projects that can be carried out by PT. Prihaditama Geosciences Team are Bathymetry Survey,
Sub Bottom Profiling (SBP), Side Scan Sonar (SSS),
Marine Magnetometer, Met-ocean Survey: Tidal,
Ocean Current, ocean wave height, wind, and rainfall Survey.
BOSIET stands for Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training is a certificate that must be held by employee that will be employed in offshore
field in oil and gas industry. This training is design for the participant to understand and mitigate any risk that might be occur in offshore environment.
The BOSIET certification covers a range of topics, including sea survival, firefighting, Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET), and first aid.
Participants are trained on how to use different types of survival equipment, such as life rafts, Emergency Breathing System (EBS), evacuation from building
in case of fire, and how to evacuate from a sinking vessel or a helicopter in case of an emergency.
This training was conducted to develop the mindset needed to deal with emergency conditions. This training teaches
how to communicate, formulate strategies in situations of high danger and stress. In this training, participants were also taught the importance
of teamwork and demonstrated the best procedures in securing emergency conditions.
